We’re making some changes….
As we’re sure you appreciate, the costs of running the Hangar go up every year.
Raising prices is unavoidable, but while the headline price might go up, we always think about how we can give you excellent value for money, and hopefully a fantastic climbing and social experience.
In addition to the new membership subscription which was introduced last year, we have a couple more changes for 2019. The following will come into effect on 26th January.
- Increased standard adult entry (pay as you go) to £9
Includes everything you need to climb, except chalk. Inductions for newbies, shoe hire (usually £3) and a range of coaching sessions and social events.
- No more off-peak pricing - but concessions are available
Charging based on what time you come in doesn't quite sit right with us. So we're removing off-peak and standard entry will apply all day, every day.
We are introducing a concession rate though. Emergency services, armed forces, NHS, registered unemployed, carers, registered disabled and those aged 60+ will pay £7.50 per session at any time (with valid ID)*
- Student day, all day Monday.
Bring your valid NUS card at any time on Mondays and get a climb for our concessionary rate fo £7.50.
Subscription membership stays the same at just £23.99 per month, so savings kick in after climb three (plus you get free yoga, members’ only sessions and discounts on a bunch of other events). There’s no contract and no joining or cancellation fees. Nearly 1,000 people are already getting the most out of it.
Price rises are never fun, but we hope you understand our reasons. Hopefully, you’ll consider becoming a member so that we’ll get to see you more.
Thanks for your understanding and support.
