The best training for climbing is climbing, but sometimes you need a little bit of time away from the wall. The Hangar's fitness sessions are designed with climbing in mind to get you prepped for a session or build strength and conditioning where you need it most.

What's on offer?

Sessions run every Wednesday evening and they're available to everyone aged 18 and over. There is no such things as too fit - you will be given variations to do to account for your fitness levels and goals.

Get Moving

A coach led warm up getting your blood pumping and muscles loose in preparation for your climbing session. We'll make sure you know the do's and don'ts of a climbing specific warm up and get you out of those pre-climbing bad habits.

30 mins - 6pm and 6:30pm - £3.50 (£2.50 members)

Bitsized circuits

Our Bitesize circuit sessions are snippets of bicep, ab and quad inducing workouts that include TRX time, free weights and some training on the wall. The Bitesize circuits will help you develop functional and antagonistic climbing muscles to aid your climbing progression and reduce your risk of injury.

30 mins - 7pm, £3.50 (£2.50 members)

Core Burner

Be prepared to long for a terrible accident to leave your core numb and pain free. Our core burner has been specifically developed by climbers for climbers to target the areas of your abs you haven't been friends with for years and get you strong enough for all those steep climbs. No matter your current ABility, we've got a variation of each exercise to work for you.
