The National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme is a nationally recognised programme of bouldering coaching that gives kids aged 7+ fundamental skills in safety, etiquette at the wall, technique and training. Its aim is to create confident, competent climbers, with the opportunity to progress as an athlete or coach at the higher levels.
All our kids' sessions are based on the skills progression and quality requirements of the NICAS bouldering syllabus, although the formal training is delivered in slightly different ways according to the facilities at each wall. If you're interested in private NICAS programme sessions for your group, they can be delivered over six weeks as part of your PE offering, or as a way of fulfilling the sports section of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
Our most flexible option for groups. Attend our instructor training and you can bring up to eight kids to the wall at a time to suit you for as long as you want and at our cheapest group rate (min. numbers apply). Instructor training is free. Contact us to request a session.
