Our Duty Managers are instrumental in supporting our crew to foster the fun, welcoming and inclusive indoor climbing community that The Climbing Hangar is known for.
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for opening & closing our site, overseeing the daily operations of the centre, and being the initial point of contact for both our staff and customers. You will use your leadership skills to support and mentor a team of crew to deliver next level customer service and provide the highest levels of safety and cleanliness across our site. As well as providing hands on support to our Front of House team and being the designated First Aider and Fire Warden, you will support our site management team behind the scenes to drive success. This can include supporting with, admin; scheduling; coaching development; retail; events management; and staff training & development. Full training provided.
The successful candidate will be psyched about the idea of coaching and confident hosting one to one sessions and classes for both children and adults (full training provided).
This is a fast paced, customer facing role which involves working Front of House across all areas of daily operations (including reception, retail, coaching & cafe) to role model what ‘great’ service looks like; continually assess and improve our service/ product standards; and to foster the fun, inclusive & welcoming culture that TCH is known for.
