Big news for UK climbing... adidas Ticket to Rockstars lands at The Climbing Hangar

YOUR TICKET TO THE BIG SHOW...

Adidas’ flagship bouldering competition comes to the UK for the first time in 2019, encouraging amateur climbers to compete for wildcard entry into one of the most spectacular events in the pro-climbing calendar.

The three UK rounds will be hosted by The Climbing Hangar at their venues in London, Plymouth and Liverpool, and climbers of all abilities are welcome to participate.

Adidas Rockstars is an international climbing competition and one of the highlights of the pro bouldering calendar. Its combination of showpiece climbs, sound and light installations and some of the world’s top climbers make it a spectacular experience for both athletes and spectators.

Adidas Ticket to Rockstars is the wildcard competition, giving amateur climbers the opportunity to win a place in the season finale, staying in the athlete hotel and participating alongside some of the climbing world’s most recognisable faces.

Ticket to Rockstars’ aim is to encourage grass roots participation. In addition to the serious business of competing to win your place in the T2R final (and possibly a wildcard entry to the biggest event in the European climbing calendar), there will be fun challenges, food and drink provided by local suppliers and the opportunity to celebrate your achievements once climbing is done at the Rockstars parties. Spectators are also welcome.

Competition entry is free and online registration opens for all three events on 1^st July 2019. Places are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.

The dates are as follows:

• London – 27^th July 2019 (Female competition, ages 14 and above)
• Plymouth – 24^th August 2019 (Kids and adults comps, ages 4 and above)
• Liverpool - 31st August 2019 (Kids and adults comps, ages 4 and above)
