WHAT IS THE TOUR DE HANGAR?

In short, Tour De Hangar is 9 massive climbing comps with £2,000 of cash prizes available at every site.

Climbers will have two hours to rack up the points before the Top 10 in every category take on our Super Blocs.

Sort of like a final, sort of like a sprint finish, the Super Blocs are worth extra points, so they’re a chance for anybody in the top ten to make a big leap up the leaderboard at the last minute.

Only a few climbers will make it to the Super Blocs, but the rest can sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

There are loads of reasons to get involved with our biggest ever comp series:

• You don't have to compete in every event... every Hangar gym is hosting its own leg of the comp with its own prizes
• You don't have to be any good... while the top dogs will compete for the cash prizes, a variety of giveaway prizes will be up for grabs along the way, regardless of the leaderboard
• It's a spectacle... you don't need to be in it to win it. You can have a fun climb and then watch some of the best climbers in the world slug it out on the Super Blocs
• It will be the place to be... Tour De Hangar is more than a comp, it's a party and the rest of the Hangar community is set to be involved.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS?

Prior to each Tour De Hangar event, kids will be invited to take part in Tour De Hangar Jr. No cash will be up for grabs (nor mini comp t-shirts), but young climbers can still test themselves against the comp set and have some fun.

Tour De Hangar Jr will cost nothing but the price of standard U14 admission, which means if the child has a family membership, Rock Club membership or Squad membership it won't cost them another penny.
