Here's Tom's Execution Session aka. "Tom's Potter Around the Centre".

The idea with this session would be to climb every single bloc at your flash grade (eg. climbs that are simple enough for you to complete them on the first attempt) or maybe even a grade lower! But we're going to place a huge focus on moving really well between the holds and executing the route as well as you can, with excellent technique.

Suggested session length 1 - 1.5 hours
Focus on - climbing way below your flash grade but climb everything PERFECTLY

If you can easily flash reds, for example, we might set the grade for the session at blues. Find a start point (I like to go downstairs in Liverpool North right before the cave and work my way up to the very back of upstairs)

WHAT TO DO FOR THIS SESSION

• Take a moment before pulling on, read the route make sure you have a clear idea of what you are going to do on the wall from the ground

• As stated before, try to climb this in a very intentional way. For example, if you wish to be more dynamic in your climbing, be explosive, and maybe even try to cut out a hold to make a move bigger. Or vice versa, if you want to be more static, try at all times to keep as much tension and move as slowly as you can through each of the moves

• Once completed back down to the mats, rest for around 1 minute maybe even less, and then go back on to the next climb. This can be nice and easy in a set with a lot of one colour but there will be some walking around the centre.

• The aim isn't to do every climb of a certain colour (all be good if you do) the aim is more to climb them as PERFECTLY as you can think of this as an execution technique-based exercise rather than a get very pumped one. Think about stopping your session when your form starts to drop - and don't rest too long as these boulders should be at a level that is not too difficult and don't require a huge rest. But if you're feeling good don't hesitate to through in 1 or 2 harder climbs to test yourself!

Make sure you're nice and warm for this and it can be a great one with friends, take turns and time each other or go at the same time and it'll make the rest go way faster.
